I’ve been to the original location and this is not the same. The chicken was not as flavorful and the sides weren’t very well prepared.
Visited around 2pm on 12/29. Not great. The original chicken was bland, and the spicy was not much better. I got a 3 piece combo, and the breast was so old and dried out I couldn’t eat it. Wife’s tenders were fresh cooked and okay but also bland. Sides were average except for the roll which was the best part of the meal. Old chicken and no flavor are unacceptable for what is supposed to be soul food. No time to take it back and complain because the wait took up all my time. Wife says we should give it another chance, we’ll see.
